The mahi mahi bite is red hot for schoolies, gaffers and slammers. It is the best fishing of the year right now. The mangrove snapper season is on. The reef edge is swarming with yellowtail snapper right now. This fishery will continue for the next two months. The Little tunnies and king mackerel are also about to start swarming on the wrecks near the reef edge and the occasional sailfish or slammer awaits. The tarpon bite during the morning hours has been good on dead baits. We have been doing this too.
